Easy Homemade Face Masks for Glowing Skin

Give your face the love and care it deserves by trying these homemade facial masks recommended by many skincare experts, and made from natural ingredients. They’ve been tried, tested and proven to work wonders on the skin!

  • Avocado and Cocoa Hydration Mask

Ingredients: Quarter avocado

Cocoa powder

Honey

Warm water

Method:

  1. Mash 1 quarter of avocado
  2. Stir in 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and 1 table spoon of honey
  • Apply to clean face for 10 minutes
  1. Wash off with warm water
  • Strawberry Facial Mask

Ingredients: 3 Strawberries

Lemon juice

Honey

Greek yogurt

Method:

  1. Blend the 3 strawberries and 1 oz. lemon juice. Pour into mixing bowl or storage container (Do not use tinned or frozen strawberries. Use fresh ones)
  2. Add 1 container of personal size Greek yoghurt and 1 oz. honey, and then mix everything together.
  • Place the mixture in a freezer for 20 minutes
  1. Apply to clean skin and leave for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove with warm cloth
  • Banana Face Mask

Ingredients: Half a banana

Orange juice

Honey

Method:         

  1. Mash one half of a banana
  2. Mix in a tablespoon of orange juice and a tablespoon of honey
  • Apply mixture to the face and keep on for 15 minutes
  1. Rinse with lukewarm water
  • The Breakfast Mask

Ingredients: egg yolk

Honey

Olive oil

Oatmeal

Method:

  1. Mix one egg yolk with a tablespoon of honey, a tablespoon of olive oil and half cup of oatmeal.
  2. Apply the mixture to the face for 15 -20 minutes.
  • Rinse with lukewarm water
  • Papaya Face Mask

Ingredients: A small piece of papaya (paw-paw)

Honey

Method:

  1. Mash the papaya and add the honey to it
  2. Apply the mixture directly on your face and wait for 15 to 20 minutes
  • Rinse with lukewarm water
