SWISS ROLL CAKE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS: 
1. 4 eggs
2. Half cup of sugar
3. Half cup of flour
4. 1 teaspoon vanilla
5. ¼ cup melted butter/ oil
METHOD
Separate the yolk from the white of the eggs. Beat the egg whites and flavor with an electric mixer until quite foamy. Gradually add in the sugar as you mix until standing peaks are formed, (it should be at medium high speed). Add the egg yolks one after the other to the 4th yolk. Sift the flour and salt into it and use a spatula not the mixer to fold it gently,. Add the oil and mix with spatula also until well combined. Prepare a baking tray not pan, line it with a baking sheet.
Spread the cake batter on the baking sheet tap on countertop and bake at 180 degrees C for 15 mins. If you bring it out put another paper and cover it, then you turn upside down and peel the baking sheet you used in baking. Then roll the cake with the paper and allow to cool completely. Unroll and spread the filling of choice, then roll back gently without the baking sheet. You can also decorate the top with icing too… ENJOY….
