Presidential Inauguration Ceremony: Dawn of a new era

On 29th May, 2015 Nigeria’s Democracy day was the D day when Nigerians who had waited eagerly for President Goodluck Jonathan to handover officially to the man of the people Gen. Muhammadu Buhari. The Searing in Ceremony which took place at the Eagle Square, Abuja witnessed a mammoth crowd from all over the world who came to support Nigeria and the key figure of the ceremony, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari. The ceremony was graced by over 50 leaders from all over the world came from different parts to shoe support to Nigeria and Muhammadu Buhari being the 14th president of Nigeria. Former Nigerians Heads of States were present; US delegate lead by the US secretary of state Mr John Kerry was present. The Delegation of Nigeria-American Basketball legend and Olympic gold medallist, Hakeem Olajuwon was present, Nigerian service chiefs, top government officials, friends, family and well-wishers were all gathered for this wonderful ceremony.
The inauguration is historical indeed because it has never gone down the history of Nigeria where a Nigerian president will hand over to an opposition. A new era has emerged and Nigerians have long waited for this era. A lot of Nigerians desire changes in every facet of the national life, especially in the areas of the security, economy, corruption and power. Analysts believe that if these four areas can be fixed by this government, Nigeria and Nigerians will be the better for it. The inauguration ceremony started with the swearing-in-ceremony and thereafter with a gala. As usual, Tozali crew was there to capture the beautiful moments of the events.
