President Muhammadu Buhari has directed security chiefs to rescue all persons abducted during the Kaduna train attack and other persons still in captivity.

The National security adviser BabaGana Munguno disclosed this after the National Security Council meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa on Thursday.

President Muhammadu Buhari who was saddened by the incident demanded prompt action by all the security chiefs. He also called on the strengthening of Border security in order to curb insecurity in the country.

Munguno lamented that without the support and cooperation of the local communities success will not be achieved.

The Abuja-Kaduna train which was attacked on the 28th of March few minutes to Rigasa Station in Kaduna and 8 persons where confirmed dead and several others abducted.
