Nutritional value of tigernuts drink:
Tiger nuts are super high in resistant starch fiber, which helps in weight loss, Tigernuts are very healthy, they help to prevent heart attacks, thrombosis and activate blood circulation. Due to the high contents of soluble glucose they prevent cancer and lately some investigators discovered that they reduce the risk of suffering colon cancer. The very high fibre content combined with a delicious taste, make them ideal for healthy eating.
INGREDIENTS
1 mud Tiger nuts
Water
Milk
Dates (dabino)
Sugar
Coconut
Cloves
Ginger
Flavour
Directions
Using dried tigernut, rinse and soak in generous amount of water, leave overnight, Drain soaked nut and pour into a blender. Add in 4 cups of water, coconut, date, ginger (optional), cloves (optional). Blend until smooth. Place a sieve bag (same type used for pap) over a large bowl and pour the blended tigernut drink. Squeeze the bottom of the bag to release the milk.
Add milk and sugar inside you can also add flavour if you like, Pour into a jar store in the fridge. Nut milk has tendency to coagulate in the fridge, simply shake before each use.
