The commissioner of health in Plateau State, Dr Kunden Deyin said the state recorded four (4) deaths, while laboratory tests confirm five cases of lass fever since December 2016. The commissioner told news agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday January 23rd that 80 per cent of the mortality rate was due to late presentation of patients to health care facilities.
