One of the recognised and indisputable commandments of Islam is that of marriage, considered to be the sacred union between a man and a woman. The intra cultural marriage between the daughter of Kano State governor Fatima Ganduje and son of Oyo state governor Idris Abiola Ajimobi is a union which not only cement relationships but as well as destroyed stereotypes between the south and north of Nigeria. No doubt the ancient city of Kano witnessed a lot of fanfare from their pre-wedding photos, the henna party and all the activities leading up to the wedding proper. Everything as expected has been an exhibition of pure class, elegance and wealth. Tagged #Faaji2018, the event were planned by Zapphaire Events and the venues decorated by the wedding Guru. The event was kick started with a beautiful and captivating pre-wedding photo shot by Big H studios, and styled by Denola Grey with makeup by Doranne Beauty. The brides Arabian themed henna party was tagged “Fatima’s Henna play Day. The bride Fatima looked elegant in a dress by Betho official; she was seen sporting a flawless face beat by Jide of St Ola. The Durbar saw the groom being crowned a prince by the Emir of Kano, just before he wedded his bride who is a princess. The Groom rode around town with his grooms men in a princely fashion. The Kamu, opted for an exquisite custom made Fulani milk maid outfit by Deola Sagoe, while Idris went for a two toned blue Agbada with red stripes. And for their dinner, Fatima changed into another stunning Deola Sagoe piece while Idris changed into an Agbada. The dinner was anchored by Ik Osakioduwa while Reekado Banks trilled everyone with his performances. The fireworks added glamour and light to the event to such an extent people got scared thinking it was a bomb Lol…….. (Hmmmm Nigerians with fear shaaa…..) The Groom it appeared was in a hurry to settle down for the main task; conjugal responsibilities immediately after the wedding ceremony. He really meant business as he was seen kissing his wife deeply and passionately. Trust Nigerians with comments when the picture was released on social media but wait a minute should they be seen kissing in public? (Keep your comments rolling I will love to hear from you my beautiful readers) Wishing the lovebirds a peaceful home.
