The leadership of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP)had made a press statement on the release of the final list of candidates contesting for the presidency in the 2023 general elections.
The National Chairman of the party Prof.Rufa’i Alkali while addressing the press in Abuja this evening had called the attention of all its members and supporters around the country to keep calm on the exclusion of some of it’s aspirants from Kano central senatorial district ,Yobe deputy governorship candidate ,Taraba South senatorial district, and Kaduna State.
The party Leaders had called the attention of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC to check and rectify the problem.
Rufa’i had asked all party members to remain law abiding as they await a substantial feedback from INEC.
Among those cleared by the electoral umpire are Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP); Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
